Desexing (spaying or neutering) your pet, unless used for breeding purposes, is strongly recommended. There are many health benefits for your pet. In addition unplanned puppies and kittens ending up with animal re-homers is reduced.
When should my pet be desexed?
The recommended age for desexing a dog or cat is six months. Doing this helps prevent your pet developing undesirable behaviours such as roaming, urine spraying or marking in cats, and aggression in dogs.
