⚠️ Urgently Needs Foster or Forever Home
Large Male Dogue de Bordeaux Mix Dog 🐶
Boss is a Dogue de Bordeaux mix who has been residing as an only dog and shows extreme loyalty to his human.
Sadly his owners health has deteriorated & Boss needs to find another home 💔.
Boss is feeling a little lost since coming into care and can take a while before trusting and warming up to strangers. Beneath his caution, is a simple pooch that just wants to please his family..
Boss enjoys his walks 🐾 and does well on a halti collar. He otherwise has a great level of basic obedience knowing to sit, lay down and shake hands.
Boss is used to being home alone for periods of time and does not exhibit any destructive behaviours. He has been spending his days outside exploring the yard and enjoys coming in of an evening to snuggle up with his humans.
Given his size, he is seeking an adult only home where he can be their one and only. Boss truly is seeking a best friend whom he can share his affectionate and loyal nature with. If you’re experienced with larger breeds, have the patience and structure to help Boss come out of his shell then we would love to hear from you.
For now Boss needs:
⁃ best as only dog
⁃ No cats
⁃ No kids
Boss is available for adoption or foster care and support will be provided by Boss’ current trainer to help him transition into his new environment.
Foster Caring for AINB
We appreciate our foster carers and fully support them and the animals they are providing a home for until they find their forever home. We provide the animal’s food, bedding, toys, veterinary/medical costs and training if required.
Our foster carers need to be in the Brisbane area so that we can provide this support.
Not available for interstate adoption
We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are.
Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone’s needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
