Extremely Special Case 💔
Male Boxer Cattle Dog Mix Puppy 🐶
Pancho, a fun-loving Boxer x Cattle pup, was surrendered at a pound with a suspected heart murmur…
He was only 3 months old then & cute as a button with a friendly, cuddly nature.
We had Pancho examined at our local vet & she advised us to have a cardiogram done.
So we booked him in & received heartbreaking news that Pancho has a congenital cardiac condition called Pulmonic stenosis.
🩺 There is a pulmonic valve which controls flow from the right side of the heart (right ventricle) into the lungs. With pulmonic stenosis, this means the flow is abnormal and it increases demand on the right side of the heart & thickening of the right ventricular wall as well as reduced outflow from the right side of heart.
Sadly it seems to be severe & carries a risk of sudden death.
They are saying exercise needs to be restricted but how do you restrict a happy puppy full of life ❣️
We are looking for a special person/family who can give Pancho plenty of love 💕 & outings.
Pancho must be able to sleep inside.
He is crate trained ✔️ and housetrained ✔️.
Pancho loves his toys 🧸
He loves everyone as they are his friends💜, including other dogs which are his favourite ❤️.
Pancho needs a home with a doggy friend.
He walks beautifully on his lead 🐾 and travels well in the car.
He is on good quality food and fish oil everyday.
AINB has had him chemically castrated as going under a general anesthesia is risky for him ‼️
He is such a precious boy who doesn’t have a clue what all the fuss is about 💙
Adoption details
Not available for interstate adoption
We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are.
Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone’s needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
