AINB is bound by the principles concerning the privacy of users of its website will respect the privacy of users accessing the website and commit to protecting their privacy.
This policy sets out how we manage personal information on our website, so that users are aware about the collection and use of user information, which could be used to personally identify them, as well as AINB responsibilities in protecting user privacy.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

The information we collect may include: name, address, phone/email and other contact details. We collect and use PII to provide our services to carry on our work in re-homing animals in Brisbane.

When users enquire about a pet it will involve submitting their Personal Information to the AINB website. Users are entitled to, change, correct, or update the information, submitted in online forms upon request.

In terms of Third-party disclosure, AINB does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties’ users’ PII unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
In addition, all our management and volunteers are bound by privacy obligations in regard to the protection of users’ personal information but may disclose users’ personal information to courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities to meet our legal obligations such as sharing information with governmental agencies assisting in investigations.
However, non-personally identifiable user information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
AINB retains form data entries for six months and data analytics records for one year.
What rights you have over your data

How we protect your data
We use regular Malware Scanning processes. Also all users’ PII is kept secure. Only authorised AINB management team has access to this information. Computer access is password protected and external access to data files is prevented via the use of a firewall. PII is destroyed when we no longer need it. Website users will not be added to a mailing list without their consent.
