Medium-Large Female Greyhound 🐶
Don’t let the name fool you, this girl is a sweetheart 💜.
Meet Mischief💕
She is an absolute cuddle bug 🐞 – she loves affection ❣️.
Mischief has moments of excited energy but is mostly a typical lazy greyhound. She is a retired racer, but has lived as a pet for the last 6 months. She does not seem interested in chasing, has low prey drive and has been good with meeting small and large dogs alike when out on walks. She can be a little timid and gets her confidence from being around her humans.
Mischief would prefer someone who is home for a good portion of the day, but can be left up to around 4 hours at a time. She hasn’t had a backyard to enjoy, so she may get more comfortable with longer solo time if she had a nice yard to enjoy.
Her health is great which you can see in her stunning shiny black coat. As she can get a little excited in her brief moments of energy, she would be best suited in a home without small children. Over 12, or at least over 6 if they are dog respectful kids. She is untested with cats.
Unfortunately Mischief’s living arrangements are about to change, due to no fault of her own. She has been a much loved family member and needs a new home where her family will continue to adore her.

Adoption details
Not available for interstate adoption
Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal.
👉🏼 Please check that you meet the requirements in the description before applying, as we are unpaid volunteers and can only contact those that meet the stated/minimum needs of the animal.
We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are.
If everyone’s needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we have a 3-week trial period to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
